problem windows autentification when access MS Project Server 2002

Hello,
I have a question about problem with client acess microsot
Project web access with windows autentification.
after this client change password, hit to project web
aceess with window autentification always request user
domain name and password. previously this user never input
user name and password.
why and how can be fix this problem?
I am using windows 2000 server client windows XP
and Project Server 2002

It sure sounds like the user is achieving only a local logon to the
workstation, not a network logon. Can you verify that this user is
authenticated on the domain?
