Problem with Actuals spreading into future dates - Help!

We have a project that Custom Fields is set to "Hours of work done per
time period". This is only the 2nd week these resources have been
entering their own hours. Now we have a few resources entered
different actual hours for each day this week and the Project
Professional view is showing the same amount each day - like 1 hour -
each day for months into the future. Why is this occurring? They
haven't entered any actual hours past this week?

This would be the expected behavior of fixed-duration tasks in Project.
First you need to know the behavior of task types in Project and then you
must understand the reporting behaviors of Project Web Access.

We have the same problem with spreading time in the future and our activities
are fixed-work. I noted that this happens for activities with no remaining.
