Ambrose, Joseph
Hello all!!
I have created the following rule in my inbox
Apply this rule after the message arrives.....
With <email address> in the message header....
redirect it to <Exchange-distribution-list>.....
then delete it.
When the rule fires, it recognizes the email address in the header, but
generates an error...
"The action is not available in the current mode"
the distribution list contains two (2) members a mail enabled public folder
( which works when i use it in the rule)
and a contact record ( this is Exchange 2000 ) containing an external SMTP
address. When i put the address on the rule by itself i get the message
above.
What's the problem? It's a server-side rule, but Exchange doesn't like the
SMTP address. ( if i keep all the addresses internal, the rule works fine.
Any ideas?
