Problem with AutoComplete in Word 2007

Firstly, please pardon my ignorance as I am not familiar with all the correct
terminology for all the items and settings used in MS Word.

In Word 2003 I was able to insert text into AutoComplete, which would be
stored and added into a document if I typed the first few characters of that
word in any document. I have searched everywhere and downloaded the
“Interactive - Word 2003 to Word 2007 command referenceâ€, and the closest I
could get to resolving my problem was the “Save Selection to Quick Part
Gallery†function. I have entered in the words that I want to have inserted
into documents automatically as I type, but it still doesn’t provide me with
the function where it gives me the word/sentence in that box and I can just
press enter to have it inserted. This function is very important to me as I
used it a great deal. I cannot go and to my “Quick Access Toolbarâ€, then
select “Building Blocks Organizerâ€, then choose the text I want and then
click “Insertâ€. This path is taking way too long!!! I also found that with
typing in the first few characters and then pressing F3 is also not working
as efficiently as the AutoComplete function did in Word 2003.

How can I setup Word 2007 to show me the complete sentence in that box and
so that I can just press enter to have it inserted into the document?

This Building Blocks Function is really irritating and definitely not more
effective than the old version of AutoComplete in Word 2003. I am really
starting to hate MS 2007!!!

There is no AutoComplete in Word 2007 except for dates. But AutoComplete
applies only to AutoText. For text to be inserted entirely automatically,
you need AutoCorrect entries.
