Problem with autocorrect being overwritten

We are a hospital transcription dept which uses WORD 2000
as our word processing program in conjunction with
Dictaphone Text build 6. One of our staff members is
having a problem with her autocorrect being constantly
and mysteriously overwritten. She works on a PC at home
as well as here in the office. This has happened to her
in both places. We have contacted the Dictaphone Help
Desk as well as Microsoft's Help Desk and no one seems to
have an answer why this is happening. I am trying one
more time with both Help Desks as we are at a loss to
explain or resolve this problem and need someone to help
us. If anyone has ANY ideas at all why this might be
happening, can you explain or give us some advice on how
to fix.

There is an article about this in Knowledge Base, number
273970 but it indicates that is is happening in 2002 or XP
only. But perhaps it will help.
