Problem with change custom fild (organization) in PS07

I created custom field for exaple 'Budget' as Global Organization field -
custom field. Now I need to change atribute this field and need to add
reference table (some of list value), but I can't because checkbox 'reference
table' is notavailable (in PWA option Castum field). J can't to lose value in
this column (we have 30 projects in PS) , but only need add reference table
to this columns.

An thoughts ? Thans for any help

After you create and save a custom enterprise field, the system no longer
allows you to change the Custom Attritutes option, such as changing from a
Lookup Table to a Formula. Therefore, I would recommend you create the new
Lookup Table first and populate it with the value list from which users must
select a value. Then create a new custom field and attach the Lookup Table
to it. Then, in each of the 30 projects, have the PM choose the correct
value in the new field that corresponds with the value entered in the old
field, and then save and publish their projects. When everyone has
completed this action, you can delete the old field. Hope this helps.
