OK, a bit of a problem here.
Yesterday I followed the instructions here to create an add-in:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;302896
For the first few times I was able to get this to work. Then I had
trouble removing the add-in so I 'reset' the standard toolbar in
outlook. Now when I follow the instructions in the article I don't get
a new command button. I have deleted the project and started over, no
change. I went into outlook and tried to manage the COM add-ins, no
change.
After creating the new project I built the solution and then installed
it, restarted outlook and it still didn't show up. I then tried to
uninstall the package and MSI told me outlook needed to be closed, yet
there wasn't a new button on the tool bar.
Can anyone help?
Also, if there is an example of code to get text from the currently
selected email, I would appreciate a copy.
Thanks.
