problem with copy and paste

Hi there i have a problem copying and pasting pictures from Office Picture
Manager to Microsoft Excel 2003. When i press CTRL+C and copy a picture in
picture manager and try to paste it (CTRL+V) into excel nothing happes. This
is a huge issue for me. I do not want to use anything else beside picture
manager ....

by the way when i paste the same picture (already in clippboard) into word it
works just fine...
