problem with corrupted outlook express address book

Hi guys,

I have lost all my contacts in my address book. Also when i go to send a new mail message i get an error message that says outlook express is configured improperly and needs to be reinstalled.....how do I go about doing this? I am using xp home...I also get an error message that says my address book is corrupt and cant be used.
