Problem with creating project tasks using PDS.

Hi

I am using PDS to create task in the project, tasks are being created and
resources are assigned to the task but the following requirement is not
fulfilled.I have tested the API using different scenarios but there is no
consistency/pattern (i.e.. explicitly set tasktype to fixed duration,
provided the work duration for resources, used multi combinations of start
date/end date/work parameters).

"When creating task, tasktype should be fixed duration and work will
be divided among no of resources that were provided"

Is this documented anywhere what will be the behavior when using PDS except
PDS provided documentation. Any urgent help will be highly appreciated.
