Problem with Custom forms

Is there any way to have a customized mail form open as a
default form in a Calendar. I have a calendar that I am
using to book a training room and would like it if when
the users click on the calendar to book an appointment
that a custom form open, instead of an appointment, so
that they can select certain options such as room layout,
pc and non pc equipment, etc. I have designed a custom
mail form that has all the controls set up on it and would
like for this form to be the default form used by the
calendar.

You cannot make a custom mail form the default for a calendar folder. The
default for a calendar folder needs to be a custom appointment form.

You could, however, use techniques similar to the form launcher at
http://www.outlookcode.com/d/forms/formlauncher.htm to build a custom
appointment form that launches the mail form.

Is there any way to customize an appointment form with a
command button that will send the custom appointment form
to a mailbox?

I'm not sure what you have in mind, but yes you can send an appointment as a
meeting request by changing the MeetingStatus property, adding a mailbox
recipient, and sending the item.
