Dear Excel gurus,
Currently I have a problem with Excel X, where I cannot add a record to
a database that is hosted on another computer. The database has been
generated with Excel on the Windows side. I can open a shortcut of the
template file on my desktop, but the program is complaining that it
'Cannot open Template Wizard'. I know that on the Windows side people
need an Excel add-in called 'Template wizard with data tracking' to add
records to this database over the network, but I, on the Mac side, am
stuck. Through Google I did find a workaround by copying the Template
Wizard from Office 2001 into the Add-In folder within the Microsoft
OfficeX:Office folder, but for some reason the Template Wizard ends up
under the 'Data' menu instead of the 'Tools>Add-in' menu. Does anyone
know a workaround? Thank you in advance for your input.
