I've recently had to use Detect and Repair on Outlook 2002. The only problem,
is that now Outlook is no longer a shortcut on my desktop, but the
application itself (I believe it used to be in Program Files). I can't move
the application from the desktop and create a shortcut. Also, for some reason
the icon is not displaying. The icon is simply a default Windows document
icon. When I right-click the icon, it asks me for account settings, as it
probably should.
The type A part of me really wants that icon to display properly, and I'd
also like Outlook to be in it's proper place without a resintall.
Is there anything I can do?
