Problem with "display all tagged notes"

OneNote closes when we select "display all tagged notes". I uninstalled and
re-installed OneNote, but the problem remains. Any suggestions

Maybe it's a corrupted section somewhere? Try closing your notebooks one by
one to try to isolate the problem. Then if you can isolate it down to the
page with a corrupted tagged object, try untagging and retagging.

It does not seem to be related to a corrupted section. First of all, the
problem occurs even with only one new and empty section open. Also, my
notebook resides on an external disk, and creates no problem when opened on
my personnal laptop at home. The only difference betwen my business laptop
and my personal laptop is that Windows XP and OneNote 2007 are a French
(Canada) version on the first, and an English (Canada) version on the last.

Aaah. This might possibly be among the reasons.
OneNote is not really built for carrying the notebooks on external
storage devices and using that with multiple computers.
This may cause problem with the Cache (OneNote's playground) as well as
with the individual settings on each computer.

If you have a laptop, use ON according to its concept:
- notebooks just on *one* machine (possibly the desktop at work),
- on the other machine(s) open the notebooks remote from the storage
device.

This way the notebooks are automatically synched as long as the
computers are connected.
You could work on your laptop at home and when you re-connect it to the
desktop at worked all of the changes are synched automatically.

External hard drive wouldn't be a problem.

I still think there's some data corruption somewhere. If you close all
notebooks and maybe even rename your Unfiled Notes.one file (while OneNote
is closed) then start up with a clean slate, see if the problem persists.
