Problem with DocumentStore in the MS sample

Hi,

On a VMWare box with W2K3 Server, SPS2, SQL2000 and
Analysis Server I installed Project Server 2003 (without
the sample). Afterwards, I restored the sample with the
sampcfg.exe /r.

The sample looks fine, and I can view some items on
Projects for example. But when I want to view a Documents,
I get the following error:

"The documents, risks and issues features in Project Web
Access use Windows SharePoint Services.
There is a problem establishing a connection with the Web
server running Windows SharePoint Services. Contact your
system administrator."

Also, the "Manage Windows SharePoint Services" menu
provides a link to the MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments
site. But it does not exist..

I have tried to restore the sample three times now, but to
no avail..

Is there a way to resolve this problem? (and if so, how? :)
