Problem with duplication of funcres.xla

Hi!

We upgraded to Office 2003 Pro recently. Find it full of
bugs, including one which wouldn't let it open and save to
a Novell server! MS sent us a "hot fix" for that.

Now we have a new one. On one of the computers when Excel
starts it displays an error, which says that "FUNCRES.XLA"
is already running. The error recommends changing the file
name if it has to be opened.

We know about ATPBAEN and Funcres. We looked at the
xlstart folder and all over the place, finding nothing
amiss.

We have many spreadsheets and applications which output
files in older versions of Excel. When installing the 2003
Pro (custom install), we noticed it did not have the
Analysis Tool Pack listed as available -- only the
Analysis Tool Pack VBA. However, on the ADD-INS it still
lists the original Analysis Tool Pack. We selected both of
those ADD-INS in every computer with the new 2003 Pro
installed, but only one gave us the error.

We have ACCPAC v. 5.0 installed, along with Peachtree v.
7.0 on all computers. ACCPAC uses Excel to produce some
custom-made financial reports; the reports were created
using the Office97 version. Peachtree does nothing!

Can anyone help us?

Thanks, Elsa
