problem with enabling logging

When I try to enable logging for an "unable to display folder" issue I get
the following message in the log

....deleting WAB4/UseOutlook because we're using MAPI.
....writing UUID to HKCU.
....setting Primary Client to Outlook.

The title bar reports that logging is enabled..but that is the only
information the log ever displays

any help will be appreciated, I followed the instructions precisely and Im
having the same problem when trying to enable logging.... on multiple
machines.
