Problem with Excel and Word

I'm using Word and Excel, 2007 versions. I have prepared a graph in Excel
and copied/pasted it into a Word document, but for some reason some items
from the "legend" in the graph while visible in Excel are not visible in
Word document. They simply disappear. I have tried opening a new Excel
workbook and re-entering the data and making an entirely new graph and still
get the same problem. Why is this happening?

How are you pasting the chart into Word?
It is common for Word to crop Excel charts/tables when pasted.
Have you tried any of the options under Paste Special? One of these will
probably give you a better result.
