Problem with Find in Word 2000

When I invoke the "find" window, a new, blank Word window
opens. Let me expand on "blank." There is a task entry
in my task bar, but there is only an icon, no text. This
same thing is found in the title bar of the window. There
is no menu, toolbar, or document, just a disabled status
bar.

After I cancel the find window, I go back to the origianl
Word window, yet the blank one remains. If I try to
switch back to the blank, I see the same as if I were
switching to the original window.

This same scenario happens when I open a document in a web
interface. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Chris,

Does your monitor have dual monitor support?

If so then you may be encountering the same problem described in this
