Problem with Find/Replace function

Joe

In Word 2004 for Mac (OS 10.4.1), in the Find/Replace function, how do
you get Word to distinguish between English and other languages, in my
case Armenian? I want to replace English E with English M. Instead,
it replaced English and Armenian E with English M.

In the F&R dialog click the button in the lower left corner then open the
Format list & choose Language.

BTW: I hope your OS version is a typo -- Tiger is currently 10.4.11 :)

You need to mark the text with the various languages in it, then reveal the
advanced properties in the Find dialog (by hitting the blue triangle) and
choosing the language you want in the Format options.
