Problem with form fields

In Word 2000, I created a doc with a few form fields. They work fine for me,
but on another user's machine, the page appears with odd boxes near the
right margin, with titles like "Deleted" and "Formatted: Normal". He's
running Office 2003, which I have no experience with. Via his Word options
dialog box, is there something to switch off to eliminate these annoyances?

Im no expert, but I believe these are Markups. I know that in Word
2003 there is a "Reviewing" toolbar. If you enable this toolbar, there
will be a little pulldown text box. If you can see these little
"notes" on the right side of the document, that pulldown text box
should read "Final with Markup" or at least say "Markup" somewhere. If
you change that to "Final", those notes will disappear and the margins
will go back to normal. Note, if you print a document while it is
still showing the Markups, your document will reflect the odd looking
margins and I think will also print the noted markups as well. Hope
this helps!
