I have been trying to fill in a form for a friend provided in Word (2007) by
the British Home Office.
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/s...ms/workpermits/flr/urgenttreatment_flried.doc
There is one mistake on the form in that when you try to enter a contact
telephone number (first occurrence) an irrelevant drop-down box opens with
ridiculous choices. Also the section 'Reason for Urgent Treatment', Other,
does not permit the user to fill in any details.
Clearly it is possible to print the form and complete it by hand but I have
been engaged in trying to match up the empty boxes!
I did some research on the Internet and found that Alt-Shift-F11 would
reveal code where the password locking the boxes could be changed but it
doesn't work. I have saved a copy and discovered that on the Review tab has
a 'Protect document' button but according to that it is not protected.
Is there any way I can make a copy of the form (I am assuming it is a form)
and remove the protection so we can fill it in neatly?
Any help appreciated,
Noel
