Problem with forms

R

routeram

Hi,
I am a complete newbie with web design. I tried to create a form using the
form wizard in fronpage2003. All was well. I made one and uploaded it on to
the web. I wanted all my results to go into a file called 'results.txt'. I
clicked the submit button and I got a page saying below

FrontPage Run-Time Component Page
You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web
server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly.

This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish
this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.

Click the <Back> arrow to return to the previous page

I think this is cos I didn't change the default confirmation page. When I
check the results file - there is nothing in it. Please help.

Regards,
Ram

You need to check with your hosting company, and ensure that the FrontPage extensions are installed
for your account.

Then re-publish your web but make sure you publish to http://yourwebsitename.com

Do not use the ftp:// mode.
