One of our departments has published a spreadsheet on the Intranet. Within
that spreadsheet there are HTTP links to PDF documents also on the Intranet.
When I open up the sheet, all of the HTTP Links work fine, it locates the
relevant PDF document. However, with a specific user, the HTTP links for some
reason, change to something like "C:\temp\PDF1.pdf" - typically the TEMP
folder is the temporary internet folder where the spreadsheet is being opened.
So when he clicks on the links on his PC, he gets an error; file not found.
When I open up the spreadsheet, all the links are valid, i.e. they show up as
"Http://intranet.etc.etc"
This is with Excel 2003 SP3 - I have uninstalled/reinstalled Office. This is
only happening with this specific user. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions??
Thanks in advance.
