Problem with imbedded object and words on top

I have on a powerpoint slide a shockwave flash object (.swf) which is an
animated christmas cartoon. I want to add my own text to go over the top of
the embedded object, but the text appears behind the object, and cannot be
brought forward. I have tried this on 2007ver and 2003. No luck on either.
Any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

You will need to make use of Control Toolbox's textboxes.
