Problem with Input Mask Wizard

Hi, I recently upgraded my Op. system to Windows 98. Since
then i can not get Access 97 to work properly.

Problem 1)
Input Mask Wizard: no items shown in list, and can not
edit list. Then a series of illegal call messages.

Problem 2)
When i try to create a mask manuall i get "Object variable
or withblock not set" message.

Problem 3)
I can not create any control buttons, when i click on the
form to create it i get "ActiveX component can not create
object".

I've tried re-installing Access but to no avail.
Operating system: windows 98SE
Access: Access 97SR2

Any advice greatly appreciated.
