problem with issue assignment

Hi,
I am trying to assign an issue to one of my resources. However, when I drop
down "assgned to" box in issues page in pwa I could not find name of my
resource. I think this is because of that, I added my resource's name after
publishing the project. When I delete the project and published again the
problem was over. But this is not the solution. If I would have to add a new
resource to a continuing project how this problem will be solved? Is there
anyone who knows the solution?

After you add a new resource to the project and assign the resource to at
least one task, you should republish the project using Collaborate -
Publish - All Information. If the new resource still does not appear on the
Assigned To pick list, ask your Project Server administrator to do the
following:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click Admin - Manage Windows SharePoint Services
3. Click Manage SharePoint Sites in the sidepane on the left
4. Select the row header for the project in question
5. Click the Synchronize button
