problem with jpg's in mail merge

hello,
i am trying to send out an email using mail merge from
Access to Word (Office 2000) and to include a picture in
the body of it. everything works but the picture is not
included. not only that, but when i try to add a picture
when the email is in the outbox, that doesn't work
either! if i just send an email (no mail merge) i can
have a picture in the body no problem... any clues on what
is going on here and how to get around it would be much
appreciated.

Outlook/Word 2000 can only do plain text mail merge. You would need to use
a 3rd party mass mailing program to do what you want, or upgrade to Office
XP (both Outlook and Word would need to be upgraded). The following article
