Problem with Justifying

When I am typing a document I highlight the text, go to
format and then to paragraph. I click justfied.

But then the text spaces out too much sometimes, why is this?

example: (normal)

dddddd
dddddd
dddddd

example: (problem)

dd dd dd
dd dd dd
