Problem with last line justification

How do you keep the shot last line of a paragraph from justifying, it creates
too many spaces. I could do this in previous versions of word but not in 2003

I don't recall that function in older versions of Word. Where was it?

How the fonts are distributed across the line depends on the fonts more
than anything else. Just change things to make it look like you want,
e.g. margins (increase/decrease by a small amount), font size (go up or
down one size), change in font, etc. If it really matters, use a real
publishing program.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

Re: Problem with last line justification

I don't recall it being a function that I found, just that I was able to
justify without the last line being all spread out over the page. Maybe I
was using a different font or margins and just got lucky.

I'll try your suggestions and see what happens.

Thanks

Try putting a blank line (a carriage return) after the last
line.

That worked beautifully, thanks so much.
