Problem with Leveling

D

David

I changed one of my project over to Automatic leveling and all of a sudden
all of my project that I have in PWA changed over to automatic leveling.
When I changed this option in one project why did it globally change all my
projects?

The Automatic vs. Manual leveling option is global for all projects. I do
not ever recommend using the Automatic leveling feature, therefore, you
should consider setting it back to Manual. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale, I already did.

Dale,

Let me ask you another question that I haven't receive any response one.
When I delete a project that is published on PWA, I lose ALL of my link to
sharepoint for ALL the project published to PWA. The documents are still out
there and are still linked to each of the projects but the actual link from
the task to the document has disappeared. Any ideas??

Have you installed SP-1 on both Microsoft Project Professional and Project
Server?

David

No I haven't. I'll get our IT Person to do that.

As always - Thanks for the great guidance and information.

I'm being told by our IT people that SP1 was installed (for Project Server
2003) during the installation process back in March of 2005. Would not
installing service pack 1 on Project 2003 have any effect on this problem? I
see there is a service pack 2 out there now. Would that help me?

I would recommend you repost your latest problem as a new message and let
the technical folks in our group tackle your problem.

I'll try doing that again. The last time I got no useful help. Thanks Dale,
I appreciate all the advice you have given me on this and other subjects.
