Problem with linked table to Win98 sharing folder

Dear all,

My application is linked to Win98 sharing folder and the folder is
protected by password.
Every time the user restart his PC, the application can't find any
connection with the MDB file
So he should refresh link again and enter password to access the folder.
Is there any solution for this problem ?

What happens if he opens a shortcut to the shared folder BEFORE
attempting to open the database? Windows should ask for a password to
open the folder (there is no way to avoid that unless you remove the
folder password). I would guess that the database would subsequently
open without asking for the password.

You mentioned the he must "refresh link again" -- not sure what you
mean. If you mean refreshing the links between the frontend and
backend components of a split application, then this method should
avoid needing to do that.
