I am having trouble using long dashes (Em dashes) with the Microsoft Rich
Textbox 6.0 control. Whenever I paste them in, the control converts them to
hyphens. I have found it is the same with the Total Access Memo control by
FMS. I have even inserted the \emdash code directly into the rich text code,
but with the same results.
Searching Google Groups, I came across a posting by someone who experienced
the same thing, but noted that the control worked fine with Em dashes when
run under NT4, but failed to work with them under Windows 2000
(http://groups.google.com/group/micr...h+richtextbox+control&rnum=1#d75c9e47878dd4be).
I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this situation, and if there
was a way to get Em dashes to work with a rich textbox control.
Thanks!
