Hi,
I moved a users files from a Novell Server to a Windows dfs directory.
We have the My Documents folder redirected to their server folder.
When she tries to open a mail merge document that was previously
created, she gets a message that says it's unable to link to the
datasource. When I try to browse to the datasource, it still will not
open. If I remove the mailmerge settings, and try to connect it to
the datasource again, it may work that one time. The next time we go
to open it, it will ask for the location of the datasource again.
This is Office XP, on a Windows XP machine. The mail merge files
worked fine until we moved them. I tried changing the folder
redirection to point to a mapped drive instead of the url link. That
didn't help either.
I hope someone can help me out here. I tried to research this, but
couldn't find an answer.
Thanks,
Dave P
