I have a client who had a Windows 2000 server used as a terminal
server.
The two apps they used on this terminal server are Outlook (was 2000)
and Filemaker pro.
They have a script in filemaker that runs a "Send mail" which I assume
uses mapi to call Outlook.
After the upgrade to Windows 2003, it started complaining that the
form could not be found, instead of launching Outlook.
We completely removed office and filemaker and reinstalled, same
thing.
We installed Office 2003, and now the error is "The object could not
be found".
If outlook was already open, it crashes, due to module mapisp32.exe .
I replaced that file with one from a Windows 2003 server that was
cleanly installed from scratch, same problem.
However, Outlook itself works fine. Running outlook /c ipm.note opens
up an empty email fine, too.
The same filemaker script works fine on XP sp2 workstations...
Is there a way I can completely reinstall the mapi stuff?
Thanks
