Hi,
I`ve just upgraded from Office XP Proffesional to Office 2003, and am
having problems opening files (the usual rhetorical "File is not
availible"). After trawling google groups and the microsoft help pages,
the common fix "Disable the Office Plug-in in Norton AntiVirus" doesn`t
seem to apply as i have no anti-virus software installed at the moment.
I also checked for macros in the start-up section and removed the
pdfmaker macro, but to no help. I`m assuming the problem lies somewhere
with the normal.dot global template for 2003, as most of my files where
created with XP Pro, but i`m lost for clues as to how to fix. If anyone
could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
cheers,
Jez
