Problem with Movie files

Just transferred PPT files from Mac to Win XP,working on
Office XP.

Movie files don't work.

I deleted the old files, and re-inserted the movie. When
you turn it on to slide mode it displays the movie
placeholder, but when you click on the movie the
placeholder turns white.

Now, if I try and obtain the same movie file, from a
different source (CD), then it works. However,this won't
work for me as I would eventually need to burn the file
unto a CD.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem with transferring ppt presentations and movies to a
new XP machine. I solved it by downloading the newest video drivers from
the manufacturer (Dell) and voila!.

Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks, the white-box probelm returned. I'm
still looking for what caused that!
