Problem with MS Reader add-in after loading Office 2003 SP3

I loaded this update today, among a pile of windows updates, and now the MS
Reader add-in doesn't seem to work. .Lit files are no longer listed in the
'save as' dropdown.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the add-in with no success. Can
anyone help?
