problem with numbering

I'm using Access 2000. I've created two columns to number the records on my
report using unbound text boxes with "=1" in each:

-All Records Numbered (Running sum property is set to "Over All")
-Records Numbered by Group (Running sum property is set to "Over Group")

The one by group works fine, but the column that is supposed to number all
my records goes to "99" and then starts putting the figure "-02" in all
subsequent records to the end of the report. (Approximately 700 records.)
Anyone know why the heck this is happening? Thanks.

Nope. Thanks, Duane. I don't know if it's a coincidence, but you always seem
to be the one who saves me from my own stupidity. I really appreciate your
accurate and succinct responses.
