problem with office 08 mac

ive installed everything and done everything correctly. but when i try to
open word,powerpoint,or any other one,it comes up with a setup assistant
thing and then says to register. when i try to do that it just goes to a page
that doesnt load.i close it and try to open,but nothing happens.

any suggestions

Regardless of how correct your behaviour was, the result is that you have a
bad installation.

Run the Remove Office utility from the CD and start again
