I have had Office 2007 installed for some time now, and it's working fine.
The problem is, I just recently installed (or tried installing) the technical
refresh, and now I can't get any of the office applications to run. I am
getting the message
"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. Out
of memory or system resources. Close some windows or programs and try again."
I seriously doubt that I am low on resources because I have a fairly
powerful system:
AMD X2 4800+
2 x 80 GB Sata hard drives
1 GB PC 3200 memory
ATI 1800XT
I do, however, have the AMD Cool 'n Quiet enabled (which lowers the clock
speed to 1.01 Ghz when the CPU is not being taxed). In any case, I was not
able to install the technical refresh because it said there was an error
during the installation. I would uninstall Office and restart, but I want to
be able to backup my email before doing so.
