problem with office xp microsoft oulook

i am presently using microsoft outlook when i try to copy a certian
field
from an excel file and paste it and send to a recepient the recipient
gets the entire
exel file as an attachement not intended for him.Why is this so is
there a bug?
also another problem whenever i do a space or enter while composing an
html
mail i get my name appearing as [fkeith] every where how do i stop it
