I use a Tablet PC, with Word 2002. The Tablet Pack add-in provides
additional writing functionality with Word. However, the add-in (a macro)
causes a change to the normal template (normal.dot) and even if I just open
Word and close it immediately with no modifications, I get a pop-up window
asking if I want to save changes to the normal template. It took me a while,
but I finally tracked the problem to the Tablet Pack add-in. This is a known
problem with some poorly written macros, but I have not seen any other
reports documented with the Tablet Pack add-in. Afterall, this was written
by Microsoft and this should not occur. Has anybody else experienced this,
or have any suggestions of how to correct the problem? Anyone from Microsoft
out there? Is this a bug that can be corrected?
Thanks in advance
