Problem with office XP tools scanning and print

I'm running office XP with a canon scanner and hp 970
deskjet printer. I'm trying to scan with office
tools "document imaging". The scan display looks good,
but I can't get it to print the exact image. (I'm trying
to scan in and print to get a "copier" function.) The
original software with the scanner (non-MS) worked on
win98 and did the copy to scale.

Please tell me what to do. And, where on this website do
the "office tools" download reside?
