Problem with opening word

[Drew Farnsworth]

When I try to open Word 2000, the system freezes up and
doesn't open. I'm forced to manually shut the system
down When I restart the system and make another attempt
to open Word, the system freezes up again.

Can anyone help me?

1. When did this problem occur? Just recently or after you've done
something?
2. Maybe you could try reinstalling or patching your version of MS
Office/Word?
