I have a Dell Axim x51v. The software that came with the PDA is for XP. My
OP is Vista. I was able to install the software with the help of Dell. I
have Outlook 2002 installed. Now everytime I open Outlook, i get the
following alert and it keeps popping up repeatedly. "A program is trying to
access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow
this? If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose no."
Then you can check allow access and a pull down appears with 1 - 10 minutes.
If you choose no, the box wll not disappear. Choosing no, I get a "Runtime
Error" message: "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it
in an unusual way. Please contact the administrator's support team for more
information." What the heck does that mean? You have to choose "allow
access" and then a time to temporarily get rid of the alert box. And
whichever time is chosen, it will pop up repeatedly as long as Outlook is
running. How do I get rid of this? It's so annoying. Do I need to upgrade
to a letter edition of Outlook? Please help.
