I just realized that the junk mail filter when turned on in Outlook is
automatically filtering any message with 15 or more forward slashes
(///////////////) in a row. I have tested this on a few machines. It does
not matter who the message is from. If there are 15 or more forward slashes
in the body the message is filtered. We caught this problem because of a
person using a line of slashes in his signature. Can someone else please
test this and see what happens. I hate to have everyone turn off their junk
mail filters.
We primarily use Symantec's spam filter for exchange but many people want to
filter addresses and words that I cannot filter copmany wide.
I would be very interested in someone else testing this and letting me know
what you think.
