problem with outlook after upgrade to new bigger harddrive

Hi all,

I was having problem with outlook after I have upgraded to a bigger
harddrive. I was using software that came with
the harddrive "Maxblast" from Maxtor to copy all programs from an old
harddrive to a new bigger harddrive, after I made the new harddrive Master
or drive "C:". I was try to access my e-mail by using outlook that 's when
I got an error message that says my outlook is no longer function properly.
Please run setup and select "Repair" to restore the application. But when
I try to run the setup disk from my CD-rom it will not run. It says
something like this......

"This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package
exists and that you can access it, or contract
the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installed
patch package."

How do I get outlook to work again? Can I remove all the office and
reinstall the whole thing again, will it let me?
my operating system is "Windows XP Pro" and Office XP (standard for
students & teachers).

Thanks Mary for the quick response. I will check those out.

By the way would you know how to fix the Icon? Some of my Icons have
changed from it's original Icon. I knew how
to fix it under Windows 98 but I am not sure about under Windows XP.

Thanks again.

Paul
