Problem with Outlook email account

[Sam-Needs help]

Since I installed 'Outlook Connector' in my Outlook 2003, my Outlook doesn't
work any more. When I go to 'Tools', and click on 'E-mail Account', it give
me an error message: 'The operation failed due to a registry or installation
problem. Restart Outlook and try again. If the problem persists, please
reinstall. Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values
are not valid.' I have tried all even reinstalled Outlook 2003 but my
Outlook still doesn't work and give me same message. Now I can't receive or
send any Email at all. PLEASE HELP ME!

Have you tried Detect and Repair? If they does not work, have you tried a
new mail profile using the Mail Icon in Control Panel?

Have you tried Detect and Repair? If they does not work, have you tried a
new mail profile using the Mail Icon in Control Panel?

I have the same problem. I tried new profile, even bought upgrade to Office
2007 from 2003 (where problem started) but still same problem when trying to
configure email accounts or send/receive. I ran the Diagnostics no change. I
get an error message that says "The operation failed because of a registry or
installation problem. Restart Outlook and try again. If the problem persists,
reinstall." That's when I bought the upgrade which didn't help.

Locate extend.dat and rename it to .old and try again.

I can't locate the extend.dat file anywhere on my HD. The suggested location
(per question 19) does contain the .pst file and the outcmd.dat files but not
the extend.dat. It seems there should be one after installing the latest
Outlook.

Locate extend.dat and rename it to .old and try again.
