G'day
I am having major problems with my MS Office 2000
application.
My computer was running fine until about a week ago when
I tried to open MS Outlook to access my "Contacts"
& "Calendar" folders. Outlook would not open and a msg
asked me to load the MS Office 2000 CD.
On loading MS Office 2000 CD I got another msg
saying: "Error 1320. The specified path is too long
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Map\1033"
I then had to cancel loading of CD. Upon final
cancellation of the unsuccessful reload of MS Office
2000, the final msg said "Cannot start MS Outlook. A
required component is missing: OMINT.DLL. Please install
Microsoft Outlook again."
I have now lost MS Office completely from my computer as
I un-installed the program, but could not reload it from
the CD. I have a virus scanner/projector installed and
my computer & MS Office 2000 CD appear to be free on
viruses.
I would appreciate some advice on how to successfully
reload MS Office 2000 from the disc and also successfully
run Outlook (and all other MS Office programs).
Thanks!
